Peripheral Hospital Tondiarpet
Government peripheral hospital ,tondiarpet was established in 1979 by the honurable chief minister of tamil nadu Dr.M.G.Ramachandran wih a bed strength of 100 for the poor and below poverty people of north Chennai.
Government peripheral hospital ,tondiarpet has been upgraded to a bed strength of 150 by the honourable chief minister of tamil nadu Dr.J.Jayalalitha in the year 2005.
Government peripheral hospital ,tondiarpet is under the control of Dean ,Govt Stanley medical college and hospital and headed by civil surgeon medical officer.

This hospital is serving for the poor people of north Chennai . nearly 1000 to 1300 outpatients are getting benefitted by this hospital daily and 70 to 90 inpatients are treated daily.
CHIEF MINISTERS COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH INSURANCE SCHEME IS CARRIED OUT SUCEESSFULLY BY THE hospital.
Obstertics and gynaecology surgeries, ophthalmic surgeries, general surgeries has been routinely carried by the hospital .
This hospital is having chest clinic opd on Monday ,Wednesday and Friday by the medical officer deputed from ITM,chetpet.Nearly 100 to 150 outpatients are benefitted .
This hospital is also having siddha clinic daily by the assistant siddha medical officer deputed from arignar anna govt siddha hospital, Chennai.80 to 100 patients are getting benefitted daily.
